Sound blaster z mic settings

Title says it all, I'm looking for the best quality/price ratio I can get to make some use of my Sound Blaster Z. Currently using Kingston HyperX Cloud headset, which is known to be good for its price, but definitely not high-end, so now I'm looking at some more expensive options to really take advantage of my sound card. No cracks & poppy noises coming out my sound system 5.1 (only one pop coming from a light commutator in the house, badly isolated that i can hear out the speakers).
